Easy ways to produce Methylated spirit in Nigeria

Without been told Methylated spirit is also known as denatured alcohol, an alcohol-based solvent. Methylated spirit can be used for many things. The following are what Methylated spirit can be use for;

      1. Methylated spirit burns, which mean it can be used in small stove or lamps.

     2. Methylated spirit cleanses pen inks off non-porous surfaces. Methylated spirit can remove permanent markers from metal and plastics.  

     3. Methylated spirit is also used in household cleaning.

     4. Methylated spirit can be used to clean sticker residue off the car windscreen.

     5. Methylated spirit can be used to clean DVD laser lenses.

     6. Methylated spirit can be used as a solvent for thinning paints.

     7. Methylated spirit is also used for cleaning bike discs brakes.

     8. Methylated spirit is also used for cleaning electronics.

Methylated spirit is not meant for drinking.

The following are the ingredients needed to produce 4 liters of Methylated spirit;

     1. About 2 Liters of Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA).

     2. About 2 Liters of Methanol.

STEPS AND PROCEDURES:

     1. You need to mix both ingredients together in a container with a cover.

     2. After that shake the container very hard. The Methylated spirit is ready.

ANOTHER METHOD;

The following are the ingredients needed to produce 4 liters of Methylated spirit with water:

      1. About 2 Liters of Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA).

      2. About 1.5 Liters of Methanol.

      3. About ¾ Liter of Water.

STEPS AND PROCEDURES:

     1. You need to mix number 1 and 2 ingredients together in a container with a cover.

     2. After that shake the container very hard.

     3. Lastly, add water. The Methylated spirit is ready.
