In most countries what bleach is normally used for is laundries, the cleaning homes, etc. Bleach which is also known as sodium perborate, is a chemical formula that is used to remove any stains from clothes without damaging colorfast dyes. Bleach which is also known as sodium perborate breaks down at a light temperature to release H₂O₂ which functions this way. Just imagine the way and method hypo broke the supreme market monopoly Jik had in Nigeria, from this you can really see that you too can also make a huge fortune from producing this product if you actually start your production in a small or large scale and then market it very well. In Nigeria today, it really shows that hypo forced jik out of the Nigerian market. Nobody in Nigeria will believe that bleach can be in a sachet and be sold for as low as N30, an amount which almost every Nigerian can afford. Furthermore, the following are the process on how to produce 15 liters of bleach in Nigeria;

     1.  ½ kg of Chlorine, this is an active ingredient.

     2.  ½ kg of Alum, for cleansing, purification.

     3.   ½ kg of Caustic soda. It  neutralizes acidic materials.

     4.    ½ kg of soda ash, it helps to prevents bonding of water and hard cleaning agent.

     5. 15 liters of water. The solvent/base/carrier.


Below are the steps on how to produce bleach in Nigeria;

      1. Start by mixing the first four (4) chemicals together and then pour it into a 20-liter bucket with cover.

      2. Then you have to pour 15-17 liters of water into the bucket containing the mixed chemicals.

      3. You can now stir with a stick or turner for one or two minutes and then cover.

      4.  Make sure you stir every morning for 3 days consecutively.

      5. At the 3rd day you can leave it to settle after the morning stir and then sieve it. The sieved solution is the real bleach, and then the leftover in the bucket can be thrown away or can be mix with water to get more bleach.
