Easy steps on how to produce scouring powder in Nigeria

In Nigeria scouring powder is popularly known as vim, scouring powder is actually a product used to wash metal pot. The following are the procedures and the steps on how to start the production.

        1. About 2 cup of baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)

       2. 1 cup of Sodium chloride (salt)

       3. 1 cup of Calcium Carbonate

The following are the steps to produce scouring powder (vim) in Nigeria;

       1. You need to pour all the ingredients into a bowl.

       2. Then mix it properly.

       3. Then package it and sell.

Another method;

        1. ½ kg of baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate).

       2. About 2 – 3 spoons of Sodium laurie sulphate (SLS).

       3. About ½ kg or 3 milk cup of Calcium Carbonate.

       4. 1 – 2 spoons of Caustic soda.

       5. About ½ kg or 3 milk cup of soda ash.

      6. 3 spoons of Stpp.

      7. Lastly, fragrance.

Below are the steps on how to produce scouring powder (vim) in Nigeria;

        1. You need to pour the sodium bicarbonate into a bowl.

        2. Then add the calcium carbonate and stir.

        3. After that add the soda ash and stir.

       4. Then add SLS and stir.

       5. After that add the STPP and stir.

       6. Then add the caustic soda.

       7. Then add fragrance and stir them together properly.

       8. You can now package it for use or for sale.
